TTM guides
The collected wisdom of people who have sent far too much mail. Read this, and your odds go from 'long shot' to 'slightly less long shot'.
Always include a SASE
Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope. It's the polite way to say 'please send this back for free'. No SASE, no signature. It's basically the whole game.
Personalize your letter
A real sentence about a real game beats a photocopied form letter. Players get hundreds of the same request. Make yours the one they remember.
Send cards you can spare
Some players sign everything, some keep one for themselves. Never send your only copy of anything. Bring spares or bring heartbreak.
Verify the address
Team addresses change, players get traded, and 'Return to Sender' is a real and sad thing. Check before you stamp.
Be patient and grateful
Response times range from two weeks to never. When it finally lands, say thanks. Good karma is the real currency here.
The mailbox is a slot machine
You can do everything right and still get nothing. That's the grind. Log it, learn from it, send the next one.
Success rates and response times on this site are illustrative demo data and community-reported, not a guarantee. Player addresses can change, and sending mail carries real cost and uncertainty. No autograph is ever promised. Grind responsibly.
